With the holiday season in full swing, it’s likely you or your colleagues are jetting off to far-flung destinations. In an ideal world, work can wait until you get back but sometimes there are certain tasks that need your approval even when you should be taking time off. You don't need to be in the office to sign documents - let's discuss our top five unusual places to approve documents.

Cloud-based remote signing

Cloud-based services have made it possible to sign from practically anywhere with an internet connection. It might sound like work is always hanging over you, but you can use this technology to your advantage.

Electronic signature solutions enable you to briefly step away from your holiday and read, approve and sign a document with ease.

5 Unusual Places to Approve a Document

Up a Mountain

Perhaps you prefer the wild outdoors to a beach holiday. Approve a document from your tent or trekking up a mountain – height is not an issue for electronic signatures! As is often the case, Japan is leading the way, with Wi-Fi connectivity now found at the top of Mt. Fuji.

Under a parasol on the beach

Sipping a Pina Colada, soaking up the rays, signing a document, sit back and relax knowing that you’ve done your bit.

On a boat in the Caribbean

Maybe you’re more of an all-inclusive cruise kind of holidaymaker. You can sign a document whilst touring the Caribbean, enjoying the round the world buffet or playing mini golf on deck seven.

At the pub

You thought you’d finished for the day, but you get a call to say there’s one last invoice that needs approving. No need to head back to the office, sign from your seat!*

*We don’t condone drinking and signing – it’s probably best to approve important documents sober!

In space

You wanted a holiday that was out of this world so where better than in a space station? The only issue will be trying to keep hold of your phone whilst signing, before it floats away.

If you’re unlucky enough to be left behind in the office holding down the fort, there’s sometimes nowhere better than a good old office desk.
