On 3^rd April 2017, Ascertia is launching the SigningHub Spring ’17 release (v7.2). This release includes plenty of useful enhancements and new features for user authentication, local signing and security, all designed to help deliver great business value.

SHA1 is officially dead. For everyday users of electronic signatures, SHA1 might not mean much to you but we can assure you - this development is incredibly important!

What is SHA1?

SHA1 is a hash algorithm - a type of security measure used in popular software across the world. This includes the majority of electronically signed documents.

On August 5^th Ascertia launches the SigningHub Summer '15 release (v6.2).   There are a number of enhancements. All Summer '15 release updates are aimed at improving the user experience and delivering out-of-the-box integration with common business applications.  

As usual, all existing SigningHub users will be automatically and seamlessly upgraded.

SigningHub currently enables users to create a combined eSignature with a digital signature.

The eSignature part is the hand-signature image displayed on the document, whilst the advanced PKI digital signature is the part that is embedded into the PDF document and is verifiable upon clicking the signature appearance.
